God’s Word to You is mature
People are inherently not looking for God. Yet the things they are looking for not on,y come from Him, they come with Him. We all have a need for Him. And our lives aren’t fulfilled with the things of this world without Him. Yet we try over and over.
People even use their lives to show His imperfection in an attempt to condone sin. God made me this way so it must be ok is used often in todays world. Maybe it’s because He says come as you are. But the thing about God, about Jesus is yes, He went to those who were sinners and was among them. But He called them not to just salvation but also repentance. It’s said, He sat with sinners, He didn’t sit with them. He say with sinners and called them to change.
He calls all of us to change. We are to grow in our walk. Sure, some grow faster. But we are called to spend our lives not trying to be good or better than others, but to run our race. To daily walk and grow with Him. I posted this on media a while back.
If your relationship with God is focused on His blessings, you are still on milk.
If your relationship with God is about getting prosperity from Him, you are still focused on self.
If your relationship with God is about faith, even in the darkness and trials, you may be right where He can use you.
Be His. Not the world’s.
Hebrews 5:12-14
For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.
Ephesians 4:11-14
And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.
